Come feel the rhythm! Baba Menes Yahuda—master drummer, cultural educator, and co-host of the Baltimore Rhythm Festival—will be holding space at Urban Foli’s Drum Tent, where children can explore traditional drums, ask questions, and even sign up for future classes.

We are a 501(c)(3) collective of women of African descent dedicated to restoring and fostering wellness for women of color and their families through the arts and our internationally replicated SisterFriend model. We are an African/Black women’s perinatal health collective, part of the Birthing Project USA, founded in 1988, with over 110 birthing projects internationally and over 10,000 babies born to parents prepared to care for them.
