Vegan Tacos with chef Danni
š® Raw Vegan Tacos with Chef Danni McGee & Our Junior Chefs! š± Who says tacos need meat, dairy, or even a stove? Our four junior chefs got hands on in the kitchen with Chef Danni McGee to create colorful, fresh, and seriously delicious raw vegan tacos! In this fun Childrenās Veg Fest cooking session, the kids learned how to make every part of their taco from scratch. š Fresh Salsa: Tomatoes, cucumbers, and red onion come together with fresh lime juice and a little salt. š° Walnut Taco Meat: Chef Danni shows the junior chefs how to transform walnuts into a flavorful, satisfying taco filling using taco seasoning. š„ Creamy Cashew Sauce: Cashews, lemon, garlic, and water become a delicious dairy free cream sauce. š„¬ Taco Shells: Romaine lettuce leaves make the perfect fresh and crunchy taco shells. Then comes the best part⦠building the tacos! The junior chefs pile on the walnut meat, fresh salsa, shredded carrots, and creamy cashew sauce before sitting down to enjoy what they created. Chef Danni shows how simple ingredients can become something exciting and delicious, while encouraging children to get involved, experiment in the kitchen, and discover that healthy food can be fun! š©š¾āš³ Cook it. Build it. Taste it. Have fun with it! This is what Childrenās Veg Fest is all about: giving kids the opportunity to explore healthy food, learn new skills, and feel empowered in the kitchen. š±š More info: Children's Veg Fest: Virtual Edition https://www.childrensvegfest.com/ Chef Danni McGhee https://www.youtube.com/@DAMGoodVegan https://linktr.ee/damgoodvegan Michelle Stafford, Host/Co-creator/Sponsor https://www.divayogi.com/ Sponsor https://blackvegsociety.org/ Naijha Wright-Brown, Host/Co-creator/Sponsor https://www.youtube.com/@NaijhaSpeaks
